We have a new and exciting role at Tyler Grange, a Sales and Bid Coordinator who will report to the Operations Director to help drive the sales strategy and overall business strategy for Tyler Grange.
This role will support the Operations Director to produce and deliver the sales strategy. This will involve working closely with the Operations and Technical teams to ensure we continue to adapt to the market and deliver the business strategy in line with TG values.
Ultimate accountability for the delivery of the sales strategy will sit with the Operations Director, however, the responsibility for its monitoring and delivery is with the Sales Team supported by the Sales and Bid Coordinator.
The role will be the main point of contact in monitoring bid portals and will be responsible for collating all bid material in line with bid deadlines. Working with the wider Hub team ensuring that key bid documents are updated and organised for ease of use.

What you will do:
- Support the Operations Director to prepare the annual sales strategy by working collaboratively with the Operations and Technical Teams.
- Preparing the data and initial commentary monthly for the Operations Director to take to the monthly board meeting to assess the progress of the current sales strategy, analysis of trends, and review of bid successes;
- Provide data to the Operational and Technical teams that show the current trends in sales data and identify areas of focus for teams and individual consultants.
- Help to coordinate the TG-wide Sales team across all three disciplines and all regions.
- Coordinate with discipline and technical leads to understand the specific sales targeted based on new policy, guidance, technology, or specialist skills in the business;
- Supporting regional sales leads with the delivery of their regional campaigns
- Work with the People Purpose and Places team to ensure a joined approach with marketing;
- Work with the bid team to streamline the bid process, organise bid material, monitor bid portals and coordinate bid submissions.
- Coordinate with discipline and technical leads any bids we enter, being the key point of contact for managing the submission of the bid (not the material!)
- Engage with and any external bid writing requirements.
To join us, you need:
- To bea confident communicator with proven ability to build strong relationships across different stakeholder groups
- You are a problem-solver who is always looking for ways to improve internal processes
- You are a proficient user of the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel
- To beorganised and thorough worker with a keen attention to detail
- To be willing to travel to spend time with the team at their different office bases
- To have ahistory in sales or bid management is highly desirable
- Whilst previous experience with Salesforce and/or environmental consulting would be a bonus, this is not required to apply for the role. We are happy to provide training for all new platforms and processes required for this position.
Location:Manchester, Birmingham or Bristol.We operate a hybrid working model with an expectation of 2 days a week in the office.
Salary:£26,900 - £29,590 dependent on experience
