First Military Recruitment is proudly working in partnership with a fantastic visual events business who are looking to recruit a Sales and Marketing Executive on a permanent basis due to growth to cover their Islington branch.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Market to exhibitors using Mailchimp.
  • Contact prospective clients by email/phone to discuss the AV requirements for their exhibition projects.
  • Create quotations for exhibitors, understanding their objectives and identifying the best solution for their needs.
  • Receive and process orders directly from clients and from the web shop.
  • For some larger events you will go to site to meet clients and assist with coordination of exhibitor orders.
  • Utilise the CRM to provide up to date management information and reports.
  • Supervise the exhibitor sales team.

    • Skills and Qualifications:

  • Demonstrable track record of sales achievement and basic commercial skills.
  • Experience of supervising team members.
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced office team, contributing ideas and knowledge.
  • A keen interest in technology and a willingness to learn about new technology that might enhance our clients’ experiences.
  • A creative and inquisitive mind with experience using presentation tools such as Canva and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • A good level of numeracy and excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Very good IT skills including being competent with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).

    Location: Islington
    Salary: £35,000 + Bonus (circa £3kpa)
    Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm
