As part of this expansion, they are seeking an experienced and entrepreneurial Sales / Business Development Specialist to play a pivotal role in shaping and growing this new business area. The Opportunity: You’ll be responsible for driving sales growth, developing new client relationships, and managing the full sales cycle from initial contact through to deal closure. This role suits a motivated, hands-on sales professional who thrives in an environment where success is recognised and rewarded.
Key Responsibilities:
* Drive New Business: Identify, engage, and convert new clients across the commercial and industrial sectors, leveraging your own network and market insight.
* Build Partnerships: Develop strong relationships with decision-makers — from sustainability and procurement leads to developers and contractors.
* Design Solutions: Work with internal teams to create tailored, value-driven proposals that meet client needs and deliver commercial success.
* Own the Sales Process: Take responsibility for the entire sales journey — from prospecting and presentation to negotiation and contract close.
* Manage Your Pipeline: Maintain accurate CRM data and provide clear visibility of your sales activity and results.
What You’ll Bring:
* Proven sales success in cold rolled steel building systems (essential). 5+ years’ B2B sales experience, ideally within construction, steel fabrication, or modular buildings.
* Entrepreneurial drive — you’re self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working independently to win new business.
* Commercially astute and solutions-focused, with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
