Roles: Sales Development Manager

Location: London (2–3 days per week in Monument office + frequent travel across Southern UK)

Salary: £55,000 to £65,000 + Quarterly Group Bonus (£4.5k OTE per quarter)

Reports to: Regional Sales Director, UK

The Role

We’re looking for a Sales Development Manager to drive new business growth and develop strategic partnerships across Southern UK.


This is a hunter role, suited to someone who thrives on opening doors, building relationships, and driving channel sales. You’ll work closely with distributors, installers, and partners to grow market share and expand our presence in the region.


You’ll spend around 80% of your time developing new business and 20% managing key accounts, combining autonomy with strong internal collaboration.


Key Responsibilities

New Business Development (≈70–80%)

  • Identify and engage new distribution, installation, and channel partners.
  • Build and manage a robust sales pipeline through proactive outreach and market mapping.
  • Present technical and commercial solutions to potential partners.
  • Lead negotiations, prepare proposals, and close new partnerships.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events.

Partner Growth & Channel Enablement (≈20–30%)

  • Manage a portfolio of high-potential partners, supporting growth and engagement.
  • Deliver training, product education, and business reviews.
  • Work with marketing on co-branded campaigns and sales enablement materials.
  • Share insights and feedback to help improve products and partner experience.

Strategy & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate records and forecasts within CRM (Salesforce).
  • Monitor regional performance and adjust strategies for maximum impact.
  • Contribute to team targets and group sales goals.


About You

You’re a confident, driven sales professional with a natural ability to connect, influence, and deliver results.

You’ll bring:

  • B2B sales experience, ideally in EV, energy, tech, or hardware/software sectors.
  • Proven success in channel sales or partner development.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and CRM experience (Salesforce preferred).
  • The ability to manage your own territory, travel independently, and drive growth.
  • Based in or near London, with flexibility to travel frequently across the South.
  • A valid UK driving licence.
