Sales Development Representative (SDR)

Location: Daresbury Tech Hub (3–4 days per week)

Reports to: Chief Sales Officer

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

The Role

We’re looking for an ambitious and curious Sales Development Representative (SDR) to help accelerate growth in key international markets.


You’ll be the first point of contact for potential enterprise customers — identifying target accounts, researching key stakeholders, and starting meaningful conversations that create new sales opportunities.

Key Responsibilities


Prospecting & Outreach

  • Identify, research, and prioritise target accounts in regulated sectors (e.g. financial services, insurance, healthcare, government).
  • Execute multi-channel outreach (email, LinkedIn, calls, social) to engage senior decision-makers (CISO, CDO, CMO, Privacy Officer).
  • Qualify inbound leads and maintain high conversion rates through timely, professional follow-up.


Qualification & Discovery

  • Understand customer challenges around data privacy, consent, and digital engagement.
  • Conduct structured discovery calls to assess fit and buying readiness.
  • Schedule qualified meetings for the Business Development or Sales team.


Collaboration & Pipeline Development

  • Work closely with marketing to align messaging and campaign strategy.
  • Record and manage all activities within the CRM system.
  • Provide feedback on lead quality, market trends, and campaign performance.


Learning & Growth

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of data privacy, customer engagement, and the SaaS landscape.
  • Continuously improve outreach, messaging, and product knowledge.
  • Participate in regular coaching and professional development sessions.


About You

  • 1–3 years of experience in B2B SaaS sales or business development, ideally in enterprise software or martech.
  • Confident communicator with excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Strong understanding of consultative sales and value-led conversations.
  • Highly organised, proactive, and driven to achieve results.
  • Comfortable using CRM systems and modern sales tools (e.g. LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, ZoomInfo).
  • Interest in technology, data privacy, or digital engagement is a strong plus.
