Hi, we’re Griffin! We’re the bank for companies who want to build and launch financial products.
Our context
We're rapidly heading towards a future where most of us access financial services through technology companies rather than high street banks. All sorts of companies are now embedding financial products into their apps and user journeys so that their customers can seamlessly make payments, manage expenses, take out loans, save, invest, and do more.
The problem is that companies are still dependent on legacy banking infrastructure if they want to offer regulated financial products. They need to either partner directly with an incumbent bank and/or stitch together middleware from various Banking as a Service (BaaS) providers. This process is slow, expensive, and complex and makes it very hard for companies to get new financial products off the ground.
At Griffin, we want to change this.
Our purpose
We want to make it easy for companies to bring finance to their customers at the point of greatest relevance. So, we built a bank.
But not just any bank! Griffin is a technology platform and a bank: fully regulated, API-first, developer-centric, and purpose-built to serve innovative fintechs and brands who want to build and embed financial products.

The commercial team
We strive to bring the best in technology, user experience and banking to the embedded finance space and be the bank for fintechs and corporates to build on.
You’ll help shape solutions for our customers and analyse potential new opportunities and markets.
Who are you
This is an early career role. As part of our commercial team, you'll collaborate with other Grifflings to identify and develop exciting new business opportunities. We're looking for a motivated and ambitious professional who is eager to learn, adapts quickly, and thrives in our dynamic environment.
While we don't expect you to have extensive banking knowledge, we are looking for someone with a genuine interest in developing that expertise and a early track record of delivering great results in previous commercial roles.
The ideal candidate will have most of the following:
An understanding of the B2B banking, payments, financial services or cryptocurrency sector
Proven track record in identifying leads and meeting or exceeding lead generation targets
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to quickly understand complex financial products and services
Experience with CRM systems and sales prospecting tools
Preferred Qualifications
Experience selling to fintech companies or technology businesses
Knowledge of Banking-as-a-Service, embedded finance, or API-first financial products
Understanding of regulatory requirements in financial services (safeguarding, CASS, etc.)
Experience with outbound prospecting and cold outreach
Familiarity with sales methodologies and best practices
We’re hybrid-remote, and most of your colleagues will not share an office with you on a day-to-day basis. This means you should also have:
A high degree of comfort adopting new software tools for document drafting, collaboration and communication.
A love of writing - we have a major amount of written documentation that you will be contributing to, and we place a high degree of importance on clarity and readability (you can find out more here about how we write )
Please note this role will require meeting and event attendance in London at short notice.
What will you be doing here?
As a SDR at Griffin, you will work on...
Lead Generation & Prospecting - Identify and qualify potential clients through targeted prospecting, multi-channel outreach, and strategic partner networks to generate warm leads.
Pipeline Development - Conduct discovery calls to qualify prospects for Griffin's embedded banking solutions, coordinate meetings with senior sales, and maintain accurate CRM data.
Market Intelligence - Monitor fintech and embedded finance trends, competitor activities, and prospect feedback to inform product strategy and develop targeted messaging.

Salary: £35-40,000 plus potential for commission following a successful onboarding period
25 days off a year + winter break shutdown (we close in between Christmas and New Year) + bank holidays

We’re remote-first
We have a small London office in Moorgate, but we are comfortable hiring people to work from anywhere in the UK. About a third of the company is based within occasional commuting distance of London, the rest are full-time remote.
