We are headquartered in London, UK, but are also present in several European countries as well as the United States where we service our partners, including eBay, Amazon, Just Eat, Shopify, and Stripe.
The Role
To meet the growing demand for our technology and services, we are seeking a Sales Development Representative to join our sales department. As one of the fastest-growing Fintech businesses globally, we are looking for exceptionally talented and self-motivated individuals who are eager to build a career within the company.
This is an exciting role where you will speak with a range of different customers about their current agreement or most recent application with YouLend. Your main task will be to build rapport, understand their business, and offer them the opportunity to apply for additional funding. You will also reengage with customers who previously submitted an application for more funding but chose not to proceed.
Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Contact existing customers to offer them the opportunity to apply for additional funding.
- Reconnect with customers who previously applied for funding but chose not to proceed at the time.
- Reach out to customers who have historically received funding from YouLend but have not renewed and currently have no outstanding balance.
- Work with a variety of enterprise technology platforms and YouLend’s proprietary solutions to process applications efficiently.
- Make at least 100 phone calls per day, spending 2–3 hours speaking with established contacts within our network.
The ideal candidate will have the following skillset:
- Target-Oriented: A strong desire to work in sales and achieve ambitious targets.
- Motivation: Experience working towards KPIs and engaging with multiple business owners daily.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Networking Skills: Proven ability to leverage existing networks and build new relationships with merchants.
- Adaptability: Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies, tools, and processes.
- Technical Proficiency: Comfortable working with a range of enterprise technology platforms and proprietary solutions.
Desirable skills:
- Experience in Sales: Previous experience in a sales role, ideally within the fintech industry.
- Customer Service Orientation: A commitment to ensuring business owners have all the necessary information to complete their applications successfully.

Salary Range: £29,000 + £8k OTE Bonus
