Job Summary

The SDR Team Manager is responsible for leading and developing the Sales Development Representative team to drive revenue growth through effective prospecting and qualification of potential customers. This role involves strategic planning, coaching, performance management, and close collaboration with both sales and marketing to ensure a high‑performing commercial unit. This is a player‑coach role and will carry personal targets alongside team targets.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop the SDR team to achieve and exceed targets.
  • Set team goals, monitor performance, and provide regular feedback and training.
  • Develop and implement creative outreach strategies aligned with regional and company objectives.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing to optimise lead generation and qualification processes.
  • Analyse market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to guide team strategy.
  • Oversee the use of CRM and sales intelligence platforms to ensure effective pipeline management.
  • Report on team performance, pipeline metrics, and conversion rates to senior leadership.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, empowerment, and collaboration within the team.
  • Support individual SDRs in their professional development and career progression.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and uphold the organisation’s values.
  • Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and training of new SDRs.
  • Travel to the London office regularly as required.

Qualifications

  • Proven ability managing or leading an SDR or sales team, with a track record of success.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and people management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Strategic thinker with strong organisational and analytical skills.
  • Comfortable working with technology and learning new tools quickly.
  • Proficient in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, Salesloft).
  • Experience working with senior decision makers across multiple sectors and regions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or related field is a plus.
  • Additional language skills are an advantage.

Additional Information

This role sits within the Marketing Leadership Team, reporting directly to the Chief Marketing Officer and is UK based. The role works alongside sales and marketing teams in a hybrid environment, with regular travel to the London office. Benefits include private healthcare (BUPA), pension scheme, Life Cover, and PHI.
