Sales Director (US)
New Yesterday
Help us unlock our next wave of growth in a high-value niche industry for our SaaS brand.
Remote
US or UK-based
Full-time
Final compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, skills, and alignment with the role.
We’re looking for a US Sales Director to take ownership of our US sales motion - balancing short-term revenue with long-term scalability.
These aren’t easy to find, and they don’t sit neatly in lists. But when you do find them? They love us .
You’ll work alongside our founder, marketing and product functions to win new deals and codify a repeatable sales engine. This isn’t a warm-pipeline, playbook-ready role. This is for someone who can sell, iterate, and build fast .
Why Now?
We grew 40% last year - we have 29 U.S. agencies already on board, deals from $15k to $100k+. We're profitable, stable and ambitious.
We’ve proven product–market fit, but now we're ready to expand. Your job will be to help us unlock thenext layer of growth .
What you’ll do (your first 6 months)
- Own the full US sales cycle - from prospecting to close
- Define and test outbound strategies targeting digital marketing resellersIdentify “signal-rich” lead sources and targeting criteria
- Set up and maintain HubSpot CRM, pipeline reporting, and forecasting
- Collaborate with our founder and partnerships lead to identify and scale what’s working
- Feed insights into marketing to align messaging and campaigns
What comes next
- Develop repeatable sales playbooks, demo scripts, and onboarding flows
- Formalise who we’re selling to, and how
- Help define hiring needs, commission structure, and team shape
- Create and nurture a sales culture rooted in curiosity, urgency, and integrity
- Coach future hires as we grow
About you
You'll be an ideal fit if you're hungry to make your mark. You want autonomy, ownership, and a chance to build something that lasts.
- 3–6 years of B2B SaaS sales experience (ideally agency / channel-focused)
- Proven ability to close mid-market or enterprise deals with longer sales cycles
- Experience building a sales process, not just running it
- Comfort with ambiguity, experimentation, and working cross-functionally
- Strong outbound prospecting skills - you know how to build a pipeline from scratch
- Self-starter mindset and clear communicator
You’ll stand out if you've...
- Worked in a founding/first sales hire role before
- Sold into SEO, digital marketing, or local business tech
- Built enablement materials, sequences, and demo flows
- Sold to non-technical sales teams or channel sellers
- Know how to identify niche ICPs that don’t fit standard filters
Who shouldn't apply
This role won't be for everyone, and that's okay. We've got a specific hiring criteria, so you shouldn't apply if you:
- Need a warm pipeline or a detailed playbook
- Rather manage people than sell
- Want to join or lead a team of sales reps; you'll be working solo
Why you'll love working at Insites
- Fully remote with flexible hours (US timezone)
- Competitive commission-based salary & uncapped bonus
- Smart, humble, friendly team who care about the work (and each other)
- Career-defining opportunity to help shape a company’s trajectory and US expansion
Excellent benefits package (varies according to location)
MacBook Air + £1500 home office set up
Competitive OTE with uncapped bonus
Ready to build something that matters?
