Sales Engineer

A long-established and highly respected engineering services provider is seeking a Sales Engineer to support the ongoing growth and operational delivery of its East Anglian service centre.
They are looking for someone to support the next phase of their company growth strategy in Norwich and the surrounding areas. You will work closely with the branch management team to identify and develop new opportunities, build strong relationships, and oversee projects from start to finish.
This is a pivotal, client-facing role that blends technical knowledge, commercial focus, and project management expertise to support the successful delivery of installation, service, and maintenance solutions to a diverse client base.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development & Client Relationships
* Proactively engage and build relationships with new and existing clients
* Promote a full range of services: installations, PPM contracts, and service work
* Identify and convert new business opportunities and follow up leads
* Conduct site visits, produce quotes, and maintain a strong sales pipeline
Technical Design & Quoting
* Respond to technical enquiries and prepare tailored designs and specifications
* Create accurate quotations aligned with both client needs and company capabilities
* Balance technical, commercial, and operational considerations
