Sales Executive - Corporate

Overview
As Sales Executive you'll be targeted on securing new business with organisations across the UK, selling IT solutions on behalf of our partners (Microsoft, HPE, Cisco, Dell to name a few). As you become established in the role you'll focus more on enhancing existing relationships and selling additional products to fewer clients. This role offers an entrepreneurial feel where you control your earnings and development. You will join our Softcat Sales Development Programme, designed to equip you with what you need to become successful and to support your journey to becoming an established Account Manager.
Responsibilities
- Researching potential customers to shape and build new business
- Growing new business through effective communication methods including cold calling, customer meetings and email marketing
- Working towards KPI targets through market understanding, relationship building and networking
- Providing effective account management to support customers' technology strategy, implementation, and future requirements
- Collaborating with the sales team, cross-functional teams, and external partners to develop a rich customer experience
- Demonstrating a passion for sales and a willingness to learn and develop skills
- Showing entrepreneurial flare and the desire to build your own client base from scratch
- Being a motivated self-starter, quick learner, and highly organised
- Showing enthusiasm to learn and develop knowledge of new and emerging technologies
- Having a high level of verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to build solid relationships internally and with potential new clients

Salary and Hours
- Salary: £24,570 plus commission
- 37.5 hours per week
Flexible Working and Benefits
- Flexible working — option to work from home and in the office with a pattern of 3 days in the office and 2 days at home, with requirement to be in each Wednesday for vendor and inter-office team meetings
- Working flexible hours — start and finish times can be adjusted
- Flexibility around school pick up and drop offs
