Salary: Up to £28,000 base + Uncapped Commission

Hours: Full-time | Permanent

Remote or Hybrid to Wilmslow HQ

The Role: Drive Our Next Chapter of Growth

As a Business Development Consultant, you'll be a key part of our growth engine—connecting with business leaders, understanding their challenges, and showing them how Citation’s solutions can transform their operations.


What You’ll Be Doing

  • Outbound sales: Reach out to potential clients across key sectors
  • Consultative approach: Understand their needs and recommend tailored solutions
  • Appointment setting: Secure quality appointments for our field sales team
  • CRM management: Stay organised and data-driven with a modern sales tech stack
  • Target smashing: Hit and exceed individual KPIs and team goals
  • Cross-team collaboration: Work with marketing and sales leadership to refine strategies and messaging

What You’ll Bring

  • A proven track record in outbound B2B sales or appointment setting
  • Exceptional communication, listening, and persuasion skills
  • A resilient, self-motivated attitude—you thrive under pressure and love the buzz of success
  • Comfortable working with CRM systems and digital tools
