We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Executive – New Business Development to join this manufacturing organisation based in Ashford, Kent. This role is ideal for a self-starter who thrives on hunting new business opportunities, building client relationships from the ground up, and driving revenue growth. You will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and securing new clients, while promoting our products/services to a target market.
Key Responsibilities:
* Proactively identify and target new business opportunities through research, networking, and outbound outreach.
* Generate leads via cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, and attending industry events.
* Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline to consistently achieve or exceed sales targets.
* Conduct discovery meetings and present tailored sales proposals to prospective clients.
* Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, product, operations) to align on go-to-market strategies.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM system (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
* Negotiate contracts, close deals, and hand over new clients to the account management team.
* Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.
