Location: Watford Office – 5 Days in office
Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum (dependent on qualifications and experience)

We’re currently looking for a Sales Ledger Assistant with proficiency in French or German (additional Western European languages a bonus) to join our dynamic finance team at our Watford office.
The Role
As a Sales Ledger Assistant, you’ll play a key role in managing customer accounts and supporting our credit control function. Your attention to detail, multilingual ability, and problem-solving skills will contribute to the smooth running of our financial operations and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Account Management
- Maintain accurate customer account records
- Review customer credit limits and payment history
- Support setup and maintenance of customer accounts
Invoice Processing
- Ensure timely and accurate processing and dispatch of invoices
- Follow up on outstanding payments
Payment Reconciliation
- Reconcile received payments with outstanding invoices
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies
Debt Recovery
- Assist in collecting overdue payments
- Contact customers regarding outstanding balances
- Escalate unresolved issues to senior staff if necessary
Reporting
- Prepare and maintain reports on receivables and aged debt
- Analyse trends and suggest areas for process improvement
Ad-Hoc Support
- Assist the credit control team with additional tasks as required
- Stay informed on industry standards and regulations
Skills & Competencies:
- Fluent in French or German
