    Michael Page are supporting an Engineering and Retail organisation in Halifax, who have a brand new permanent Sales Ledger Clerk opportunity to join the business. Reporting into the Head of Accounts Receivable, you will have ownership of the sales ledger activity with key duties around payment plans, setting up new accounts and chasing aged debt for example. This position will be joining an existing team with great company benefits and is salaried up to £28,000 per annum.

    Job Description

    As Sales Ledger Clerk reporting into the Head of Accounts Receivable, you will be successfully responsible for looking after the sales ledger function. This includes key duties such as answering queries, sales ledger admin, chasing aged debt, raising credit notes, inter-company reconciliations and arranging payment plans to name a few. As part of the business, there will be inter-company reconciliations, however training can be provided for this.

    The Successful Applicant

  • Open to anyone qualified by experience.
  • Previous or current experience of sales ledger is needed.
  • Knowledge of duties such as chasing aged debt admin, creating new accounts and dealing with queries.
  • Any inter-company reconciliations experience is highly desirable.
  • Can commit to 5 days in office per week.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Key eye for detail.
