My client, a media business based near TOTTENHAM COURT ROAD STATION, is seeking a SALES LEDGER EXECUTIVE to join them whilst they begin their next exciting growth phase. This is an incredible time to join this amazing business who really value their staff.


The Sales Ledger Clerk is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely completion of invoicing, client statement generation, monthly write-offs, and account reconciliations to maintain smooth financial operations. In addition, the role supports the finance team with administrative tasks, fostering both collaborative efficiency and professional growth.


Key Tasks

  • Generate and issue client account statements on a monthly basis or upon request.
  • Process accounts receivable billing, including preparation of manual invoices when needed.
  • Distribute invoices via email or client-specific platforms, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Collaborate with the Credit Controller to address and resolve accounts receivable ledger queries.
  • Manage the AR inbox, responding promptly to incoming correspondence and requests.
  • Prepare and record monthly bad debt write-offs in line with company procedures.
  • Perform monthly AR ledger reconciliations and oversee the accounts receivable closing process.
  • Support the finance team in executing tasks related to the year-end audit
  • Proactively collaborate with cross-functional teams to deepen understanding of the sector.
  • Communicate daily accounts receivable activity and priorities to the Manager.
  • Uphold exceptional service standards both internally and externally, promoting a best-in-class mindset.
  • Provide consistent support to the Manager and the broader finance function, including handling ad hoc tasks as they arise.


The Ideal Candidate

  • Industry experience in media is advantageous and viewed as a strong asset.
  • Demonstrated experience in accounts receivable/sales ledger/billing
  • Solid track record in managing financial workflows.
  • Proven ability to process large volumes of complex billing transactions with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Skilled in facilitating and leading in-person meetings across internal teams with confidence.
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office tools, with a focus on practical application
