Job Title: Sales Manager - Leading Technology Solutions Provider Location: Belfast (Hybrid/Flexible Working Available) Package: £200k OTE MCS Group is proud to partner with a market-leading technology solutions provider and trusted cyber security partner headquartered in Belfast to appoint a Sales Manager. This is a critical leadership position that reports directly to the Managing Director with responsibility for driving revenue growth, strengthening key accounts, and leading a high-performing team of Account Directors. The role requires a balance of strategic oversight and hands-on leadership, with a clear focus on delivering exceptional results. You will oversee and develop a talented sales team, set and monitor performance KPIs, and embed a culture of collaboration, accountability, and success. Operating across both public sector and large enterprise markets, you will work closely with public sector bodies, as well as with strategic partners. Key Responsibilities Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing sales team (currently 3 direct reports) across NI, Scotland, and ROI. Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and 1:1 sessions to monitor and develop individual and team capabilities. Set and communicate clear sales objectives, KPIs, and performance expectations. Maintain and grow relationships with key accounts, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention. Oversee sales pipeline development and management across all regions. Provide accurate weekly/monthly sales forecasting and reporting to the Managing Director. Ensure CRM systems are maintained, and accurate reporting tools are utilised across the team. Build and deliver sales strategies aligned with organisational objectives. Collaborate with engineering and consultancy teams to provide best-in-class, client-focused solutions, support sales campaigns and pre-sales activity. Maximise upsell and cross-selling opportunities by fostering knowledge sharing and client collaboration across the team. Analyse performance metrics, monitor KPIs, and take decisive action to exceed targets. Ideal Candidate You are an accomplished sales leader with a proven ability to deliver results in a fast-paced, KPI-driven environment. Commercially astute, you combine strategic thinking with the ability to coach, motivate, and hold teams accountable. While experience selling into the public sector or large enterprise organisations is highly desirable, we place equal value on leadership style, strategic capability, and cultural alignment. You will have excellent people management skills, and a proven track record in B2B technology or cybersecurity sales. Essential Skills & Experience: Senior sales management experience, ideally within IT, telecommunications, or cyber security solutions. Strong background in solution and value-based selling. Demonstrated success in leading and developing high-performance sales teams. Excellent leadership, coaching, and motivational abilities. Data-led decision making with the ability to translate insight into commercial outcomes. Exceptional commercial awareness and negotiation skills at C-suite and senior public sector levels.
