The Game Plan: An exciting opportunity has become available to join a growing, hardworking, and ambitious UK sales team. 2024 will be a huge year for football with London and Dublin hosting the UEFA Champions League and Europa League Finals, as well as the Euro’s in Germany, the cultural home of OneFootball. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to influence the business and outcomes of these tournaments by leveraging existing media agency relationships and developing new ones across the industry. This will involve educating clients about the OneFootball proposition and providing tailored solutions to meet their challenges and objectives.
What You'll Do:
- Utilize existing relationships and develop new ones at relevant Client Direct and Media Agencies to unlock new revenue opportunities.
- Use audiences and media opportunities across OneFootball's digital platforms to craft appropriate advertising solutions that meet campaign objectives.
- Manage the end-to-end process from receiving a brief to delivering the campaign.
- Maintain and update CRM systems, forecasts, and pipelines diligently.
- Meet and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets, both locally and globally originating from the UK.
- Build strong internal relationships with clubs, publishers, editorial, social, legal, and marketing teams to maximize sales opportunities.
- Host and entertain strategically important clients at relevant events.
What You'll Bring:
- Proven success in media sales.
- Ambitious, entrepreneurial, and proactive attitude.
- Established network of media agency contacts.
- Ability to interpret client objectives and create aligned responses.
- Strong understanding of the digital media industry.
- Experience selling to UK and/or international account teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Team-oriented mindset.
Nice to have (but not necessary):
- Experience selling football.
- Enthusiasm for football or sports in general.
- Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM systems.
