We work with clients across a range of industries - Legal, Recruitment, Hi-Tech, Business Process and Built Environment. We are looking for a Sales Manager to lead the Legal & Recruitment team. This role is pivotal in driving strategic growth, customer success, and team excellence within a dynamic and fast-evolving market landscape. As a key member of the leadership team, the Sales Manager will set and execute the sales strategy, coach and develop talent, and ensure the team consistently meets and exceeds performance targets. The successful candidate will bring strong commercial acumen, a passion for customer engagement, and the ability to lead through change and complexity. The role balances strategic thinking with hands-on leadership, focusing on pipeline generation, opportunity acceleration, and closing high-impact deals, while fostering cross-functional collaboration and championing AI and digital transformation initiatives.ResponsibilitiesBuild, motivate and mentor a high-performing sales team of Account Executives and Account Technology SpecialistsLead by example and coach team members through sales opportunities and customer conversationsLead the team to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual targets by generating sales pipeline, accelerating opportunities and driving to closeCollaborate with Managers within ancillary teams — Specialist Team Unit, Customer Success and ServicesCoach sellers to create and maintain Listen and Consult opportunities in CRM for Copilot, Azure Contract Commitments, Microsoft 365, Dynamics and SurfaceAccurately assess risk and identify performance development plans in weekly deal and pipeline reviews with senior managementDrive operational excellence of center metrics including upside conversion, pipeline velocity and accuracyDrive business value-driven customer conversations by achieving a minimum 100-level proficiency in all solution areasConduct career development discussions and ensure development plans are in place for current and future rolesAssess team capability and build talent pipelines where neededAllocate time weekly for coaching and observing the team on revenue accountability, consumption, customer adds, and building deep customer trustEmpower teams to spend more time with customers and partners by removing blockers and unnecessary rhythmsQualificationsA proven sales track record in a technology sales environmentStrong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to coach teams to drive sales goalsSuperior leadership skills with the ability to enable high performers and improve under-performersExperience engaging with C-level executives on business strategy around industry drivers and workloads; experience in the professional services industry (Legal & Recruitment) is advantageous but not requiredGeneral IT industry knowledge with ability to learn and retain knowledge quicklyWorks well in a diverse, dynamic environmentAchievement-driven attitude with motivation by performance rewards for exceeding annual sales goalsCRM experience (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics CRM) or related tools is a plusPassion for cloud technologies and how AI will transform industriesMicrosoft is an equal opportunity employer.
