Job Summary
We’re seeking a commercially driven B2B Sales Manager to lead growth across the UK and international energy markets for the Donut Personal Descent Device (PDD) – a globally recognised emergency escape solution for offshore and high-risk environments.
This is a high-impact role focused on business development within the oil, gas, and energy sectors, building long-term relationships with operators, asset owners, and training providers. You’ll identify opportunities, manage the full sales process, and help shape Donut’s presence as the leading PDD manufacturer and safety training authority.
Duties
- Drive new business across oil, gas, and offshore energy operators, contractors, and safety training organisations.
- Generate and qualify leads through proactive outreach, networking, industry events, and relationship development.
- Conduct meetings and technical presentations to demonstrate Donut’s safety and commercial value.
- Negotiate and close sales contracts with a focus on long-term partnerships and repeat business.
- Manage the full sales cycle – from opportunity identification to deal closure and account growth.
- Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, operations, and training) to support customer requirements and ensure delivery excellence.
- Maintain and update CRM records, forecasts, and pipeline progress accurately.
- Support the UK sales team to deliver against agreed performance and revenue targets.
- Represent Donut at trade shows, safety conferences, and client demonstrations to promote our products and training solutions.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory developments (HSE, OPITO, GWO, etc.) to inform sales strategy.
- Research and develop sales opportunities with new adjacent markets
Requirements
- Proven experience in B2B sales within oil & gas, offshore safety, or industrial equipment sectors.
- Strong understanding of technical or safety-critical products, ideally in emergency response or escape systems.
- Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and presentation skills with C-suite and operational stakeholders.
- Commercial acumen and the ability to identify and secure profitable business opportunities.
- Effective organisation, time management, and leadership skills.
- Competency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- A proactive, resilient, and target-driven mindset.
