We’re looking for a Sales & Move Coordinator to join our team at Bournes - a family-run business with over 150 years of experience in helping people move home with confidence. In this role, you’ll be the friendly and professional point of contact for our customers, helping them through every step of their move and ensuring they receive the high-quality service Bournes is known for.

We’re looking for a Sales & Move Coordinator to join our team at Bournes - a family-run business with over 150 years of experience in helping people move home with confidence. In this role, you’ll be the friendly and professional point of contact for our customers, helping them through every step of their move and ensuring they receive the high-quality service Bournes is known for.
- Be the First Impression:Handle initial customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person, acting as the friendly and professional face of our company.
- Drive the Sales Process:Manage the surveyor’s diary, create and submit accurate quotations, and follow up with customers to help them compare options and secure bookings.
- Coordinate Every Detail:From the moment a customer books their move, you’ll take the lead. You’ll manage documentation, coordinate with our operations and crew teams, and keep the customer informed every step of the way.
- Resolve and Support:Proactively communicate with customers to ensure a seamless process. If a last-minute change or issue arises, you’ll be there to address it, ensuring a positive outcome.
- Build Relationships:Nurture strong relationships with customers, crew members, and third-party suppliers, all while identifying opportunities to recommend additional services where this adds value for the customer.
- Has experience in removals sales, move administration, or a similar coordination role.
- Excels at delivering top-tier customer service and building strong relationships.
- Possesses an excellent eye for detail and strong organisational skills.
- Is a natural multitasker, comfortable managing a wide range of responsibilities simultaneously.
- Is a team player who enjoys both working on their own initiative and collaborating with others.

- Full-time, permanent position (37.5 hours per week, Mon–Fri)
- Office-based role at our Tunbridge Wells office (Hybrid working available)
