We’re seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Sales & Operations Administrator to join a growing business in the Test and Measurement industry. This is a varied and hands-on role, ideally suited to someone with experience in sales order processing, shipping logistics, and invoicing.
You’ll play a key role in supporting the sales team and customers—managing everything from processing orders and handling shipping to updating systems and ensuring a smooth order-to-invoice workflow. The role includes some light marketing admin, such as keeping social media channels up to date, but this is not a core focus.
Key Responsibilities:
Process and track customer and service/lab test orders accurately.
Manage sales order processing from purchase order to invoice, with an understanding of Incoterms, VAT, and payment terms.
Handle shipping arrangements and documentation (UK & international – DHL, APC).
Manage purchase orders and assist with creditor/debtor administration.
Maintain internal systems including Sage 50 (essential) and Salesforce (training provided).
Act as a point of contact for customer queries and delivery issues.
Support general office administration and documentation.
Light-touch marketing support – e.g. updating social media and company website as needed.
