I am recruiting on behalf of a well-established and highly regarded business within the home improvement sector for a Sales & Operations Executive to join their Bespoke and extremely high-end Windows & Doors division.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced industry professional who is ready to take ownership of a division and progress into a future management role. The position offers variety across sales, operations, supplier management and commercial responsibility.
This role will suit someone who is hands on, commercially aware and motivated to grow with the business long term.

The Role
You will play a key part in driving sales performance while overseeing the operational delivery of bespoke window and door projects from initial enquiry through to installation and completion.
You will work closely with customers, suppliers, installers and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered smoothly, profitably and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Customer Engagement
Managing the full sales process from enquiry to completion
Handling showroom, telephone and online enquiries
Preparing, issuing and following up detailed quotations
Delivering a professional and consultative customer experience
Developing strategies to increase revenue and grow market share
Identifying new business opportunities and driving growth
Operations & Project Coordination
Arranging site surveys and coordinating installation schedules
Placing orders with factories and suppliers
Managing delivery logistics and installation time-lines
Working closely with installation teams to ensure smooth project delivery
Monitoring projects to ensure deadlines, quality and customer expectations are met
Supplier & Commercial Management
Negotiating rates and terms with suppliers
Managing supplier relationships to maintain quality and service levels
Liaising with supplier account managers regarding performance and lead times
Financial & Administrative Support
Supporting accurate project cost tracking and financial record keeping
Ensuring documentation and order processes are completed accurately
Marketing & Brand Support
Managing social media activity for the division
Supporting wider marketing activity to promote the bespoke offering
Skills & Experience Required
Proven experience within the bespoke retail windows and doors industry, ideally at a premium level or construction/home improvement based products
Strong experience preparing quotations and managing projects from sale through to completion
Commercial awareness with confidence in supplier negotiation
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects
Excellent communication skills
Comfortable working across sales, operations and administration
Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach
