SALES & PROJECT ENGINEER FULL-TIME, PERMANENT

Sales & Project Engineer
to join our well-established engineering client based in
Brierley Hill
on a
full-time, permanent

Our client is a trusted UK engineering business supplying high-performance, bespoke components and engineered systems across manufacturing, energy, and industrial processing sectors. They are known for quality, technical excellence, and outstanding customer service. (Manufacturing is based overseas.) Day-to-Day Duties
• Act as the first point of contact for customer enquiries via email and telephone
• Prospect for new business through LinkedIn, legacy accounts, and other channels
• Qualify new clients and align enquiries with product and service capabilities
• Log and manage all enquiries in the CRM for accurate and timely follow-up
• Liaise with engineers to identify spare parts and support with technical documentation
• Source and negotiate pricing with sub-suppliers and manufacturing partners
• Prepare and issue quotations using Excel and Word with clear commercial terms
• Manage order processes – PO review, order acknowledgements, shipping, and updates
• Coordinate service and installation work with subcontractors and logistics providers
• Support equipment relocations and issue detailed quotations
• Build strong, long-term customer relationships and encourage repeat business Essential Skills & Experience
• Based in or within a commutable distance of Brierley Hill
• Strong communication and negotiation skills with suppliers and customers
• Experience in sales prospecting, lead qualification, and CRM pipeline management
• Proficient in preparing professional estimates and quotations (Excel & Word)
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects
• Confident working independently and taking ownership of commercial processes
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction
• Background in engineering, manufacturing, or technical sales
• Experience in quotations, order management, or supply chain coordination Training & Development
• Full training on company products, systems, and processes
• Mentoring and ongoing support from senior engineers and commercial leadership
