Sales Support Administrator
The Sales Support Administrator is responsible for providing comprehensive administrative and operational support to the sales teams whilst working in collaboration with the finance team. This post holder will be responsible for facilitating a smooth and seamless end-to-end processing of timesheets, rate cards, extensions, and client documentation whilst maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and proactive problem-solving to support seamless financial operations and excellent customer service delivery. The role also involves monitoring performance metrics, maintaining data integrity within CRM systems, and contributing to continuous process improvement to support overall business objectives and profitability.
Duties and Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day sales support activities to ensure smooth administrative operations.

Develop and maintain efficient workflows and processes for timesheets, extensions, and rate updates.

Accurately enter and maintain data within CRM and internal systems.
*
Monitor and prioritise workload to ensure timely completion of all administrative tasks.
*
Act as the main point of contact between recruitment consultants, payroll, and credit controllers.
*
Ensure all placement details, terms, and invoicing information are accurate before submission.
*
Identify and resolve discrepancies promptly to prevent payroll or billing delays.
*
Support payroll with timesheet accuracy and weekly processing requirements.
*
Monitor NHSP and personalised rate cards, ensuring they are updated and entered correctly.
*
Manage contract extensions and handle related queries efficiently.
*
Track and report on administrative errors, timesheet issues, or financial discrepancies.
*
Serve as a key communication link between the sales team and support functions.
*
Maintain positive working relationships with consultants, payroll staff, and credit control teams.
*
Escalate issues or concerns appropriately to ensure minimal disruption to recruitment operations.
*
Track and update key performance metrics for reporting to senior management.
*
Prepare and maintain reports on divisional activity, including timesheet accuracy and rate compliance.
*
Deliver high levels of service to clients, candidates, and internal stakeholders.
*
Handle escalated client or consultant queries in a professional and timely manner.
*
Ensure all interactions reflect the company’s values and commitment to quality service.
*
Maintain a basic understanding of departmental financials, including gross margin (GM) and divisional performance.
*
Support Sales Managers with accurate forecasting data and narrative explanations for variances.
*
Identify opportunities for process improvement and suggest enhancements to improve efficiency and data accuracy.
