Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a well-established, global organisation operating within the design-led manufacturing sector, supporting its high-performing Education division.


This business is experiencing continued growth across the UK and EMEA and is seeking a Sales Support Specialist with knowledge of Export documentation post Brexit to act as the first point of contact for B2B customers, primarily dealer networks. The role focuses on delivering exceptional service through effective order management, logistics coordination, and proactive customer communication.


You will manage the end-to-end order lifecycle, ensuring accuracy, visibility, and customer satisfaction at every stage. Working closely with Sales, Operations, and Logistics teams, you’ll help maintain high service levels while resolving delivery issues efficiently.


Key Responsibilities


Order & Account Management

  • Process customer orders accurately and within agreed timelines
  • Monitor service failures, identify root causes, and support continuous improvement
  • Maintain customer portals and master account data
  • Support sales targets by maintaining agreed service levels


Customer Support

  • Handle daily B2B enquiries and complaints via phone and email
  • Acknowledge orders and proactively manage customer expectations
  • Pre-advise customers on shortages, causes, and revised availability
  • Log and track all service issues through to resolution


Stock, Logistics & Delivery

  • Gather stock data from internal teams and communicate clearly to customers
  • Support stock allocation and delivery planning with logistics partners
  • Ensure realistic lead times to meet deadlines and control costs


Reporting & Collaboration

  • Prepare service and performance reports as required
  • Communicate weekly service updates internally and externally
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, and Logistics teams
  • Support project work and customer performance reviews


Experience & Skills Required

  • 5+ years’ experience in a B2B customer service or sales support role
  • Strong understanding of UK → EU export logistics post-Brexit
  • Confident managing export documentation and customs processes (imports not required)
  • Experience working with dealer or distributor networks
  • Solid understanding of order-to-cash (OTC) processes
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel essential) and ERP system experience
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and solutions-focused
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills


Working Pattern

  • London-based role with hybrid working
  • Regular on-site presence required (typically 3 days per week)
