Role summary The SSR is the primary point of contact for customers and suppliers, responsible for accurate order processing, resolving enquiries, and helping ensure smooth sales and purchasing operations. The role supports either the sales side, the purchasing side, or both, depending on business needs.

Key responsibilities — Sales-side Act as first point of contact for customer order placement by phone and email. Enter and maintain customer orders accurately in the company systems (ERP). Handle order-related queries (pricing, delivery, amendments) and progress chasing. Build and maintain professional relationships with customers and internal colleagues. Deal with customer complaints (damaged or delayed deliveries), escalating where necessary and ensuring satisfactory resolution. Keep internal systems and colleagues updated on order status.
