JOB TITLE: Senior Change Manager, Commercial Banking Coverage

SALARY: From £76,000+ p.a. (dependent on experience)

LOCATIONS: Edinburgh / Birmingham/ Bristol / Leeds

HOURS: Full Time – We can consider Job Share/Flexible working options

WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites.

We have a new up to 12-month fixed term contract opportunity for a Senior Change Manager to lead a team of Change Partners at the core of this transformation, driving ambitious and future-ready change.
 

Go beyond delivery. Influence change in our Coverage business for energised colleagues, delighted clients, and growth.
 

Key Responsibilities
 

Lead with purpose

  • Encourage and empower a team of nine Change Partners to deliver with pace, precision, and purpose.

  • Foster a culture of curiosity, accountability, and continuous improvement—aligned to our BCB values and transformation goals.
     

  • Inspire change that matters

  • Translate strategic objectives into concrete actions that improve our service to SME and Mid Corporate clients.

  • Partner the delivery of complex change initiatives across Commercial Banking Coverage which include pricing changes, deployment of Customer Relationship Management tools, digital servicing, and sector propositions.
     

  • Be the voice of the business

  • Advocate for the requirements of Coverage teams during senior meetings and transformation roadmaps.

  • Championing the colleague and client experience ensuring robust client and colleague treatment strategies are in place, ensuring change lands safely and adds customer value from day one.
     

  • Build the future of BCB

  • Collaborate with partners from the COO, Transformation, and Product teams to co-create solutions that are scalable, digital-first, and client-centric.

  • Support the adoption of new technologies, operating models, and ways of working that underpin our transformation.
     

  • Deliver outcomes, not just outputs

  • Ensure benefits are clearly defined, measured, and realised—whether it’s improving origination journeys, reducing manual effort, or enabling growth in priority sectors.

  • Use data and insight to inform decisions and continuously optimise delivery.
     

  • Build capability for tomorrow

  • Develop change capability across the team and wider business—sharing guidelines, mentoring others, and embedding a change-ready attitude.

  • What You’ll Bring

  • Demonstrated track record of supporting change implementation within a financial services organisation

  • Strong understanding of the obstacles and possibilities encountered by SME and Mid Corporate clients.

  • Effective management of collaborators and influencing abilities, with the skill to navigate senior forums and cross-functional teams.

  • End-to-end change delivery expertise—from crafting through to embedding.

  • A strategic approach with the ability to connect the dots between business ambition and operational reality.

  • Passion for mentoring, developing others, and building inclusive, high-performing teams.

  • Experience with agile delivery, digital transformation, and continuous improvement. (Highly Desirable)
