As Sales-Player Manager of the Public Sector Team, you will be responsible for leading and managing the geographically dispersed Sales Directors, executing the sales go-to-market strategy, identifying new opportunities, building our pipeline, winning new deals, and meeting company targets.What you’ll be doing.Typical responsibilities include: Working with our EMEA Public Sector Vice-President, Industry Lead and solution owners to define and execute the sales strategy and go-to-market plan for the Public Sector teamConsistently delivering against sales targets; contributing to the overall growth of the business.Our clients are national and our staff are expected to react to demanding client needs and agendas, so this role requires someone who easily access our London office and can travel regularly across the UK. London will be your base office location and although we have a hybrid environment you will be required regularly in the London officeWhat you’ll bring.A good understanding of Public sector issues and the ability to ‘educate and solutionise’ with the customerA good understanding of Public sector operational and buying processes, including government frameworksExtensive experience in complex solution selling within the Public sector across the UKDetermination to succeed in challenging circumstancesAn ability to lead and grow effective sales teamsAn ability to integrate into effective sales teams and lead opportunities.The ability to be an independent decision-maker but equally as inclusive when evaluating optionsAmbitious and energetic with strong interpersonal skillsStrong commercial and entrepreneurial qualitiesGood team player, capable of delivering results in a fast paced agile environmentAn ability to spot sector changes, flagging these early and reacting effectively and positivelyAn ability to plan for the futureCan perform effectively in complex and difficult environmentsCan achieve success through othersConstructive, resilient, and perseverantDesirable:Previous experience of selling trusted data foundations, analytical and AI solutions, counter fraud solutions, citizen-centric services and Data heavy products within the Public sector.
