Sendbird has an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Solution Architect. The Sendbird Solution Architect acts as a technical and product advisor to current customers and prospective clients. The role involves architecting Sendbird solutions that meet customer demands and ensuring customer success. The Solutions Architect engages in pre-sales and post-sales activities to deliver innovative, flexible, and scalable solutions to our clients, including some of the world's most notable brands. The ideal candidate should be comfortable communicating with developers, product managers, and C-level executives. You should have at least two years of software engineering experience across front-end, mobile, and backend technologies. This role supports the EMEA and Eastern US regions, reporting to the U.S.-based Head of Technical Services.

What You Will Do

  1. Partner with Sales: Collaborate with Account Executives to advise prospects on Sendbird services, designing solutions tailored to their business and technical needs.
  2. Design and deliver presentations/demos: Create customized presentations and demonstrations that effectively communicate product features and benefits aligned with customer goals.
  3. Work toward ongoing customer success: Collaborate with Customer Success, Sales, and Renewal teams to educate customers on utilizing Sendbird effectively.
  4. Lead technical onboarding/implementation projects: Manage the full onboarding cycle, from technical kick-off to go-live, designing solutions and consulting on technical and UI aspects.
  5. Build vertical solutions: Develop tools and solutions, such as third-party integrations with messaging channels, as needed.
  6. Respond to security inquiries: Articulate Sendbird's security story, lead security review responses, and demonstrate conformance with frameworks like HIPAA, SOC2, and ISO-27001.
  7. Contribute to RFx responses: Lead cross-functional teams to prepare compelling responses to requests for proposals.
  8. Gather product feedback: Provide insights to product teams to help improve Sendbird services.
  9. Technical writing: Create or assist in producing blog posts, tutorials, guides, and documentation to facilitate adoption.
  10. Coordinate projects: Manage multiple stakeholders to ensure timely and successful launches of Sendbird services.
  11. Be a domain expert: Stay updated on AI and messaging trends and act as a trusted advisor for implementation best practices.
