Overview Seeking a Specification Sales Manager who specialises in heat interface units. The role is centred on building relationships with consultants, local authorities, housing associations, and other key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities Develop and manage relationships with consultants, local authorities, housing associations, and developers/contractors. Promote product ranges, with a focus on heat interface units, and provide technical/specification support for new builds, retrofits, and heat network projects. Deliver CPD presentations and respond to specification enquiries and tenders. Track and grow the specification pipeline, converting opportunities into sales. Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and regulations to inform strategy. Collaborate with internal teams to align product development, marketing, and sales efforts.
Skills & Experience Proven background in specification sales or technical sales within heating networks. Strong technical knowledge of hydronic systems, heat interface units, and relevant standards/regulations. Direct experience working with heat networks. CP1 Accreditation required. HNTAS course desirable but not essential. Excellent presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills. Commercial acumen and project management ability. Based in London with willingness to travel as required.
Success Measures Growth in specified projects and conversion to sales. Quality of specifier relationships and market penetration. Contribution to market intelligence and product development.
