The Role
We’re hiring aclient-facing Technical Salesprofessional to own the full revenue motion—from prospecting to close—focused on solution selling of AI/agentic capabilities and integration projects. This is acommission-only / revenue sharerole to start, with a clear path to introduce abase salaryonce you demonstrate consistent performance against targets.
What You’ll Do
- Client engagement & discovery:Lead conversations with non-technical business stakeholders (Ops, Finance, CX, Product) to uncover pains, quantify value, and shape a solution narrative that resonates.
- Translate technical to business:Explain agentic AI, copilots, RAG, and automationin plain English, linking them to KPIs (revenue lift, cost-to-serve, cycle time).
- Demos & pilots:Orchestrate compelling demos; scope paid pilots/POCs with clear success criteria, timelines, and ROI measures.
- Sales execution:Build pipeline, run structured deal cycles (e.g., MEDDICC/SPIN), navigate procurement and light security due diligence, and close multi-stakeholder deals.
- London presence:Attend in-person client meetings, workshops, and team sessions in London as needed (typically 1–3 days/week during active cycles).
- Partnering:Develop relationships with cloud/data/ISV partners to co-sell and generate referrals.
- Feedback loop:Relay market insights to help refine offers, pricing, and case studies; contribute to sales collateral and thought leadership.
Outcomes & KPIs
- New revenue closed:Achieve and exceed quarterly targets (set collaboratively during onboarding).
- Pipeline creation:Meet monthly targets for qualified opportunities (self-sourced + partner-sourced).
- POC → Production:Convert a high percentage of pilots into production engagements.
- Sales velocity:Maintain target cycle times by deal size and stakeholder count.
- Referenceability:Secure new case studies/quotes each quarter.
Your Background
- Proven sales experience:technical/solutions sales(AI/ML, automation, data platforms, integration services, or developer tooling), with a record of closing services/solution deals.
- Client-facing communicator:Excellent storytelling, objection handling, and executive presence; confident presenting to C-level and running workshops.
- Bridge between tech & business:Skilled at simplifying technical concepts and articulating business impact for non-technical audiences.
- Ownership mindset:Self-starter comfortable with early-stage ambiguity and building playbooks as you sell.
- London-based orable to be in London frequentlyfor client engagement.
- Agentic AI:Goal-directed agents, tool use/function calling, planning, multi-agent orchestration, guardrails/observability.
- Generative AI:Prompt/response design, evaluation, RAG vs. fine-tuning trade-offs, safety, latency/cost optimisation.
- Platforms & tooling (working knowledge):Major LLMs, orchestration frameworks, cloud services, and MLOps basics.
- Security/compliance:PII handling, GDPR considerations, and typical enterprise assessments.

- Discovery-first→Value-led pilots→Land-and-expandacross functions once outcomes are proven.
Compensation
- Commission-only / revenue share at start:Competitive %, uncapped.
- Accelerators & SPIFFs:Higher % above quota and for strategic wins/expansions.
- Path to base salary:Following consistent performance (e.g., ≥ two consecutive quarters at/above target), wemay introduce a base salarywith a hybrid OTE structure.
Nice-to-Haves
- Existing network with mid-market/enterprise buyers in sectors like financial services, professional services, retail/e-commerce, logistics, healthcare, or public sector.
- Experience shaping SOWs (deliverables, milestones, acceptance criteria).
- Familiarity with common sales tooling (CRM, sequencing, call recording) and light proposal automation.
