Technical Sales Engineer Job Type: Full-time Location: Southend Salary: £30,000 to £45,000 dependent on experience We are seeking a proactive and skilled Technical Sales Engineer to join a dynamic team. This role involves developing and maintaining relationships with existing and potential customers, identifying sales opportunities, and ensuring the seamless operation of the Sales Department. Day-to-day of the role: Develop and maintain contacts with existing and potential customers to promote the Company’s products and services. Organise and plan personal visits to identify sales opportunities, making technical presentations and explanations to agents and potential customers as necessary. Negotiate sales contracts ensuring payment terms and predicted profit margins align with the Company’s policies, unless otherwise agreed by the Technical Sales Manager. Liaise with various departments including commercial, projects, drawing office, and workshops to ensure proper transfer of information on new orders. Collaborate with the Sales Office Coordinator and other sales staff to ensure continuity of operations in the Sales Department during absences.
