The Financial Services Regulatory (FSR) team provides expert advice on UK financial regulation, working closely with regulators including the FCA and PRA to ensure compliance and strategic adaptation to evolving regulatory landscapes. The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Trainee Legal Graduate to join our Financial Services Regulatory team. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience advising on UK banking laws and regulations, drafting regulatory documentation, and supporting the bank's legal and compliance obligations.

You will:

• Monitor and analyse new and evolving UK financial services laws and regulations impacting Société Générale
• Provide insightful commentary and legal analysis for internal publication and guidance tools
• Draft and review regulatory submissions, client agreements, and correspondence with UK regulators
• Conduct legal research and support internal teams on regulatory matters
• Collaborate across legal teams and business units to ensure compliance and risk management
