Job Description:
Pinewood.AI is seeking experienced professionals from the automotive dealership world to join our growing Training and Implementation Team. Whether you've worked as a dealership accountant, assistant accountant, or in a similar accounts-based role, this is your opportunity to support our company growth and make a real impact.
Requirements
- Implementing the Pinewood.AI platform into new and existing automotive retailers across the UK and internationally.
- Ensuring a high-quality implementation process and continuously reviewing our methods to deliver consistent, high-quality implementations.
- Working closely with customers to understand their needs, setting up parameters, and ensuring correct system setup before 'Go Live'.
- Providing onsite and remote consultancy as needed.
- Delivering clear training sessions to maximize customer value from the platform's financial tools.
- Continuously developing your system knowledge, including parameters, functionality, and integrations.
About You
You should be an excellent communicator, capable of collaborating and building strong relationships with clients and colleagues. Your problem-solving skills and automotive industry knowledge will be key to your success.
You will need:
- A strong background in automotive finance or accounting (e.g., dealership accountant, assistant accountant).
- Hands-on experience with a dealer management system (preferably Pinewood’s DMS).
- A solid understanding of financial processes such as balance sheets, budgeting, VAT returns, management reporting, bank reconciliations, and accruals.
- Recognition of an accounting qualification or part-qualification (e.g., AAT Level 3 or 4).
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize workload.
- Strong time management and work output skills.
- A problem-solving attitude.
- A strong work ethic and self-motivation.
- A clean UK driving license.
- Experience with Pinewood DMS or other dealership management/accounting systems.
- An understanding of how finance supports dealership operations.
- Experience in process improvement or system optimization projects.
