Discover Echo is looking for an experienced and motivated Regional Sales Manager to join our growing UK team. This role is ideal for a high-performing sales professional with a preferred background in microscopy and a passion for supporting life science research.
The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth and managing customer relationships across the assigned territory. The ideal candidate has proven experience in fluorescence microscopy and live cell imaging and can communicate complex technical information clearly to academic, biotech, and pharmaceutical customers.
This is a field-based position, and candidates must be currently located within the Liverpool or Manchester area.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and grow sales of our award-winning hybrid microscopes.
- Execute successful product demonstrations.
- Create new opportunities on your own.
- Build effective relationships with distributors and customers.
- Negotiate configurations and pricing.
- Meet quarterly and annual sales goals.
- Work in a team selling environment with Field Applications Scientist and Specialists.
- Overnight travel is expected
- Ability to life between 22.7 kilos.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Exceptional at delivering results on target.
- Have previous microscope experience.
- Possess exceptional presentation and verbal communication skills to explain and demonstrate sophisticated technical products.
- Familiarity with key academic research and biotech accounts within the region.
- A fast learner (and good listener) who understand the needs of today's life science researchers.
- Have an affinity for life sciences and closing deals.
- Have experience selling through large distribution partners
- Must be authorized to work in the UK without sponsorship.
