Monday – Friday | Full-Time | Automotive Main Dealer
Our client, a well-established and reputable automotive retailer, is currently seeking an experienced Vehicle Sales Progressor to support their busy sales department.
This is a key operational role responsible for ensuring vehicles move efficiently through the sales process — from order to handover — while maintaining high presentation and compliance standards.
The Role
Working closely with the Sales Manager and Sales Executives, you will be responsible for managing vehicle stock control and progressing sold units through the correct internal processes.
Key responsibilities include:
* Progressing vehicles from order through to delivery
* Liaising with sales, prep, valeting and service departments to ensure vehicles are ready on time
* Ensuring all vehicles are prepared, taxed and compliant prior to handover
* Checking vehicles on arrival for damage, correct documentation and keys
* Managing trade stock and coordinating timely disposal to auction
* Overseeing vehicle display standards including pricing and point-of-sale materials
* Ensuring all used vehicles are photographed and advertised online
* Maintaining accurate internal records and systems
This is a fast-paced position requiring strong organisation, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
The Ideal Candidate
* Previous experience within an automotive dealership environment
* Experience in a vehicle progressor / sales admin / stock control role advantageous
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Excellent attention to detail
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Full UK driving licence essential
