OverviewRole: Vice President of Sales - Care at OneAdvanced. We are seeking a dynamic, commercially driven leader to build and scale our Care vertical, a critical and high-potential market in our portfolio. The current revenue base is £7M with a clear path to £30–50M and a £150M addressable market.You will bring deep domain expertise in the Care sector, ideally from a software or SaaS business serving social care, residential, or domiciliary markets. You’ll act as a mini-MD, owning vertical growth across strategy, GTM execution, product direction, marketing, sales, and M&A. This is a role for a true builder with sector credibility and the hunger to turn a high-growth vertical into a strategic powerhouse. You will lead a small team of circa 10 individuals initially, with runway to scale further. If you’re passionate about transforming the care sector through technology, this is your platform. What You Will Do
Lead and scale the Care vertical: Own and deliver the commercial growth plan aligned to OneAdvanced strategy. Define and execute the go-to-market (GTM) strategy across customer segments and product lines from net new acquisition to expansion and retention. Actively engage in market development: shape OneAdvanced positioning in the care ecosystem and influence key stakeholders. Lead the development and execution of account-based marketing (ABM) programmes to support revenue goals.
Cross-functional Leadership
Operate as the vertical GM; orchestrate product strategy, marketing, sales execution, partnerships, and customer success within the care domain. Drive alignment across functions to ensure delivery of financial goals and customer outcomes. Influence and guide product roadmap development for Care, bringing market insight to technology innovation, including agentic AI and broader platform thinking.
Build and Empower a High-Performing Team
Lead, grow, and inspire a team of approximately 10, with plans to scale headcount in line with commercial growth. Establish a strong performance culture based on accountability, outcomes, and continuous improvement. Provide mentorship and leadership to ensure talent development, succession planning, and team engagement.
Drive Inorganic Growth (M&A)
Work closely with the Corporate Development team to identify, assess, and integrate potential M&A opportunities in the Care space. Bring deep market insight and relationships to support due diligence and post-deal strategy.
What You Will Have / What You’ll Need to Succeed
Deep sector expertise in the UK Care market (residential, social, or domiciliary care), ideally gained within a software or SaaS business. A proven commercial leader with a track record of driving growth in complex, regulated, or fragmented markets. Experience owning or influencing a P&L and a strong grasp of GTM strategy, sales execution, and marketing within a vertical-focused model. Strong understanding of how to scale SaaS propositions in vertical markets, including pipeline development, ABM, and customer success. An entrepreneurial mindset: build from solid foundations, bring fresh thinking, and act with urgency. Experience leading and scaling multi-disciplinary teams with collaboration across product, marketing, sales, and customer success. Strategic thinker with a bias for action, excellent problem-solving skills, and strong commercial acumen. Strong network and relationships in the Care ecosystem are advantageous.
Success in 6–12 Months Looks Like
Hitting in-year financial targets and accelerating toward the £30–50M revenue ambition. Establishing a well-executed ABM strategy and building pipeline to support growth. Aligning internal teams behind a clear Care sector vision and strategy. Gaining trust across the organisation as a go-to leader and subject matter expert in the sector. Bringing new energy, ideas, and momentum to how we operate and scale in Care.
