Job Title: Area Sales Manager, Midlands Reporting to: UK Sales Manager Responsible For: Sales
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Customer Relationship Management
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers across the Midlands Manage all sales activities within the territory, including quotes, enquiries, and order processing. Identify new business opportunities and implement strategies to increase sales and customer retention. Conduct product demonstrations, negotiations, and installations with professionalism and product knowledge. Handle technical or repair queries within your territory and troubleshoot any issues with equipment, forward to correct channels if resolution cannot be achieved.
Territory & Business Management
Plan and manage your own schedule, including client visits, expenses, and reporting. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, visits, and sales activities using the company’s CRM system. Collaborate with the UK Sales Manager to ensure alignment with company sales strategies and targets.
Product knowledge and Promotion
Be proactive in learning about new and existing products to achieve successful customer demonstrations, negotiations, and installations. Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and exhibitions in Ireland and occasionally in the UK. Foster effective communication with internal departments and subsidiaries. Demonstrate professionalism and teamwork, contributing to a positive and collaborative work environment.
