Role Overview
As the Area Sales Manager – North West England you will be responsible for driving customer retention and equipment sales growth working closely with your existing customers across a broad range of industries. No two days are the same. We will provide you with in-depth training to learn our products and industry to enable you to sell a range of Linx coding and marking equipment, including industrial small character inkjet, high resolution case printing and Laser solutions. In addition to selling hardware, you will promote a variety of finance and service agreements to our customers.
Responsibilities
- Business development and expansion of our equipment sales through partnering with our customers.
- Developing relationships at all levels up to and including the senior leadership.
- Planning and prioritising your own diary to work on both long term and short term projects.
- Managing sales activity through KPI’s and using our corporate CRM (SalesForce.com).
- Participate in regional/national trade shows and onsite equipment demonstrations at customers’ sites.
Essential Requirements
- Willingness to travel up to 4 days per week (nights away from home when required).
- A proven track record in Account Management and evidence of sustained growth.
- Solution selling of capital equipment.
- Ability to take ownership over a broad portfolio of customers.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Knowledge of a CRM (preferably SFDC) would be advantageous.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience of solution selling into a manufacturing or production environment.
- An interest in technology.
- A background in electrical or mechanical engineering.
Location and Travel
This territory covers the North West of England, and is a fully remote role, it would be ideal if you were located near to Manchester, Leeds, or Liverpool areas.
