Responsibilities
- Drive customer retention and equipment sales growth working closely with existing customers across a broad range of industries.
- Provide in‑depth training to learn our products and industry to enable selling a range of Linx coding and marking equipment, including industrial small character inkjet, high resolution case printing and laser solutions.
- Promote a variety of finance and service agreements to customers.
- Develop relationships at all levels up to and including senior leadership.
- Plan and prioritise your own diary to work on both long‑term and short‑term projects.
- Manage sales activity through KPIs and use our corporate CRM (SalesForce.com).
- Participate in regional/national trade shows and onsite equipment demonstrations at customers’ sites.
Typical Day
- Business development and expansion of our equipment sales through partnering with our customers.
- Developing relationships at all levels up to and including the senior leadership.
- Planning and prioritising your own diary to work on both long‑term and short‑term projects.
- Managing sales activity through KPIs and using our corporate CRM (SalesForce.com).
- Participating in regional/national trade shows and onsite equipment demonstrations at customers’ sites.
Essential Requirements
- Willingness to travel up to 4 days per week (nightaway from home when required).
- A proven track record in Account Management and evidence of sustained growth.
- Solution selling of capital equipment.
- Ability to take ownership over a broad portfolio of customers.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Knowledge of a CRM (preferably SFDC) would be advantageous.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience of solution selling into a manufacturing or production environment.
- An interest in technology.
- A background in electrical or mechanical engineering.
Location
This fully remote role would be ideal if you are located near Manchester, Leeds, or Liverpool areas.
