Area Sales Manager - Scotland

Location: Hamilton, South Lanarkshire (Scotland). Travel: daily across Scotland. Employment type: Full-time. Salary: £38,000 - £43,000 per annum + quarterly commission + company car. Role

We are looking for an ambitious, field sales driven Area Sales Manager to join our GB Sales team in Scotland. You will be based from the Hamilton office with potential for remote work once trained; daily travel across Scotland is required. You will maximise sales turnover for SMB and small modular projects for new and refurbished buildings, engaging with existing and new customers through a mix of reactive and proactive approaches. You will develop and promote the company\'s full range of products and services. The role is target driven with a focus on order winning.

Essential: You must have the availability to travel daily and stay over if required; Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve set targets for sales within the area.
  • Work within agreed KPIs such as visit and order numbers.
  • Plan sales coverage to ensure customers are contacted at the required frequency.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities and sectors.
  • Assume account management for nominated clients to develop key relationships.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Team to exploit sector and client research information.
  • Keep CRM information up to date.
  • Respond quickly to audience needs and feedback.

Essential Criteria

  • Substantial face-to-face B2B sales experience.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain client relationships.
  • Forward-thinking with a clear vision to succeed; strong ability to sell via relationships and product quality.
  • History of delivering against sales targets and KPIs.
  • Strong communication, organization, attention to detail and teamwork.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel daily and stay over when required.
  • Experience in business development activities; comfortable with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, Zoom).
