OSO Hotwater Ltd, part of the LG Group, are searching for our next Area Sales Manager covering Yorkshire, North-East and East-Midlands due to an internal promotion. (LE,PE,DE,NG,LN,S,DN,HU,HD,WF,BD,HG,LD,YO,NE,DL,DH,SR,TS)

 

The area is very successful and profitable in all sectors, and significant growth is forecast.

 

 

The successful candidate must be: -

·      Located within the sales area

·      A team player

·      Willing to travel

·      In possession of a full UK driving licence

·      A proactive and self-motivated hybrid professional with a proven ability to manage workloads independently, whilst achieving targets

·      Experienced in building strong client relationships, helping to develop sales strategies, and driving business growth across multiple regions.

·      Skilled in time management, territory planning, and remote collaboration to deliver consistent results with minimal supervision.

·      IT literate

 

 

And ideally: -

 

·      Has existing relationships with gas engineers, HVAC installers and M&E sector

·      Has knowledge of the renewables market and / or products

·      Experienced with the merchanting industry

·      Have existing relationships with consultants

·      Have technical / engineer experience or the aptitude to learn

Job description: -

 

Area Sales Manager – OSO Hotwater Ltd.  

 

The Area Sales Manager reports to the National Sales Manager at OSO Hotwater Ltd.  

 

To manage all aspects of the OSO business in a selected geographic territory. Visting customers and contacts from all potential business sectors. Making any interested parties aware of OSO and its products, promoting them and offering advice where necessary. Our goal is to increase market share whilst maintaining OSO as the premium unvented cylinder brand in the UK. 


Overall responsibility for the position: 

·      To manage a sales territory ensuring that the sales budget is achieved.  

·      Maintain and manage relationships with existing customers 

·      Identify and target new potential customers 

·      Be technically proficient in all product segment areas 

·      Maximise margin opportunities 

 

Principal responsibilities:  

·      Maintain and build the OSO CRM 

·      Work within set pricing guidelines

·      Be proficient in territory and time management 

·      Proactively promote the brand in a positive manner 

·      Be aware of competitor strengths and weaknesses 

·      Partake in technical training sessions and expand knowledge 

·      Scope out new site opportunities

·      Perform site surveys on behalf of customers to specify products

 

 

Additional aspects of the role to achieve good practice: 

·      Perform training sessions for merchant customers 

·      Participate in promotional events (Day or evening) 

·      Attendance at trade shows 

·      Promote OSO on Linked-In

·      Work alongside other OSO ASM’s sharing information

·      Regularly liaise with OSO Management team

·      Perform local market and geographic research  

·      Work from home at least one day per week

·      Be prepared to stay away from home occasionally when requested 

·      Take the unvented examination to attain the G3 certificate
