We’re looking for a talented individual to join our Academy team as a Business Development Executive. In this role, you’ll support the vendor business lead by driving profitable market share growth. You’ll do this through strategic business planning, managing sales pipelines, and actively engaging with both the sales floor and customers to boost enablement and performance. A background in service sales is preferable.

Responsibilities:

• Engages with the Business Unit and/or General sales floor, running desk training, tool training and driving product mind share.
• Support development of strategies and ideas to assist business growth.
• Ownership for building an accurate and detailed pipeline of deals within the Company’s CRM system.
• Weekly reporting to the vendor on sell-out activity, tracking performance of promotional activities and the deal pipeline.
• Support execution of business plans as required by the Business Development Manager.
• Support execution of marketing plans as required by the Marketing Manager.
• Identify training opportunities within customers and internal sales teams and address accordingly.
• The point of escalation for customer care issues from the sales floor.
• Communicate product information, pricing, special offers and promotionsto customers and the internal sales teams.
• Run call out days on the sales floor.
• Promote and sell TD SYNNEX’s e-business services through the sales floor and/or Business Unit sales teams.

Knowledge Skills and Experience:

• A background in service or training sales.
• Initiative.
• Interpersonal skills.
• Building structured sales activity.
• Self-Management.

Academy is a small team and this role covers a very broad range of activities vs. that of a similar role in a larger Business Unit. Fantastic opportunity to gain breadth of knowledge.
