We’re looking for a financially motivated and commercially-minded Delegate Sales Executive who wants to use their skills to positively impact critical industries and the communities within them. This role is suitable for a recent graduate or candidates at the start of their sales careers.
This full-time, hybrid position is based in Canary Wharf, London.
About the Role
As a Delegate Sales Executive at Reuters Events, you will:
- Reach out to potential delegates/participants through calls, emails, and social media to inform them about upcoming events.
- Use a consultative sales approach to understand the needs of potential delegates and match these with our event features.
- Follow our minimum KPI standards to help achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Be part of a motivated sales team and learn the business from the ground up.
- Sell delegate places and tickets on our global portfolio of events.
- Build relationships with leads across various industry sectors and earn commissions for every sale.
- Qualify and nurture sales leads with excellent customer service skills.
- Close individual and group delegate registrations for senior-level conferences worldwide.
- Work comfortably towards targets and communicate with decision makers at leading organizations.
- Receive training on sales techniques to succeed as a sales executive.
- Potentially progress into business development or conference production roles, gaining a wide range of transferable skills.
About You
You are suitable for the Delegate Sales Executive role if you:
- Are motivated to succeed in sales or conferences.
- Want to progress quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- Have excellent communication skills.
- Are confident speaking with senior executives.
- Possess an entrepreneurial flair and a results-driven attitude.
- Have previous sales experience and some understanding of sales fundamentals.
