The successful candidate will work from our Brighton office.PositionPosition: Full time – PermanentLocation: BrightonWe have an exciting opportunity for a Delegate Sales Executive to connect with clients and sell delegate passes across a portfolio of high growth B2B conferences in the agtech, food-tech and nutrition sectors across the globe.With ambitious plans to grow our portfolio, this role will be critical in bringing in delegates to our events based in EMEA, APAC and Americas.If you are looking to progress your career in a crucial role; are self-motivated and ready to thrive in a results-driven environment; and enjoy collaborating with clients to facilitate their business objectives, then we want to hear from you.Working with the Delegate Sales Director and Delegate Sales team, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business, and managing and building an extensive pipeline.What you’ll be doingFollowing up new business leads and enquiries, via phone, emails, MS Team meetings and LinkedInIdentifying and account managing past multi-buyers and key customersBuilding, operating and maintaining our sales databaseWorking closely with the marketing, business development, research, and operations teamsJoining weekly team meetings and feeding back intelligence from the marketDevelop a deep understanding of the ag, food and nutrition sectors and keeping up-to-date with market trendsAttending summits and helping with the running of each event on the dayRequirementsSelf-driven and motivated with the ability to work independentlyExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and writtenConfident speaking to prospects at all levels of seniorityNatural curiosity and passion for sustainabilityAn international outlook and interest in current affairsProficient IT skills including MS OfficePrevious B2B phone sales experience is desirable, but not essentialExperience using sales software such as Salesforce, Goldmine, ZoHo or similar software is desirable, but not essentialAbility to speak additional languages, such as Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic or Mandarin, is strongly desirableBenefits and Why work for us25 days annual leave in addition to bank holidays – increasing by one additional day after 6 years, up to a maximum of 30 daysMeDay: an extra day of leave for cultural celebrations or your birthdayA volunteer day to support a chosen charityContributory PensionLife AssuranceGroup Income ProtectionEnhanced family-friendly leave pay entitlementsWellbeing benefits including: health care cash plan, Employee assistance programme, Virtual GP service and wellbeing resourcesCycle to Work SchemeElectric Car SchemeWhy work for usWe provide a supportive work environment and are committed to maintaining a healthy work/life balance.
