As a Group & Events Sales Manager, you will play a key role in driving reactive group and event sales for Nobu Hotel London Portman Square. From managing client enquiries and leading show-rounds to tailoring event proposals and nurturing lasting relationships, you will ensure every event reflects Nobus signature blend of modern luxury, warmth and precision. You will Manage the group and events enquiry inbox with a two-hour response time Deliver a genuine, warm and friendly service over the phone and in person to convert enquiries into confirmed bookings Understand departmental budgets, targets and forecasts, contributing to overall commercial success Maintain accurate client records and build strong, lasting relationships Review Business on the Books (BOB) weekly and maintain up-to-date event and group forecasts Negotiate contracts and packages to maximise revenue opportunities Liaise closely with the Director and Assistant Director of Events, ensuring smooth coordination of show-rounds and client visits Supervise and support team members, acting as the point of contact in management absence Work with clients to understand their needs and tailor event proposals accordingly Conduct market research, gather competitive insights and negotiate contracts Demonstrate strong knowledge of F&B and event offerings to upsell and enhance the guest experience Assist with the planning and coordination of events from enquiry through to execution Embody Nobu values of Family, Crafted, Smile and Kokoro in every client and colleague interaction What Were Looking For You bring proven experience in event sales, ideally with at least three years in events and two years within a five-star luxury hotel environment. Commercially driven and relationship-focused, you have a natural flair for communication, organisation and creative problem-solving.
