About Get The Drinks In
Get The Drinks In is afully sustainable, renewable‑poweredcontract canning facility based near Hereford. We offer150–1000 mlformats (slim, sleek, standard),low MOQs from ~3,000 L,inline lab testing, chilling/carbonation, nitro dosing for stills, tunnel pasteurisation (with heat recovery)andpressure‑sensitive labelling - all powered byon‑site anaerobic digestionwithrecovered food‑grade CO₂and substantial on‑site CO₂ storage.
The Role
We’re hiring a Head of Sales to own revenue growth end‑to‑end - strategy, pipeline, closing and key‑account expansion - across RTD cocktails, functional & soft drinks, low/no, ciders, wines and more. You’ll turn our sustainability and technical capabilities into commercial wins, while building a small, high‑performing team and a repeatable go‑to‑market engine.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and execute the UK (and selective EU) sales strategy for contract canning; hit annual revenue and margin targets.
- Prospect and close mid‑market to enterprisebeverage brands; develop a robust 3–6–12 month pipeline.
- Shape offers and pricing with Operations & Finance; align capacity, MOQs and pasteurisation/label specs with customer needs.
- Develop and coach a potential future sales team; institute cadence, KPIs and forecasting discipline (CRM ownership).
- Represent GTDI at trade shows and with industry bodies; build a partner/referral ecosystem (ingredients, design, logistics).
- Maintain strong technical credibility - speak confidently to carbonation, nitro dosing, tunnel pasteurisation, PSL vs. printed cans, and sustainability benefits.
Candidate Profile
- 10+ years’ B2B sales success in manufacturing, ideally incontract canning/bottling/co‑packing or FMCG beverages.
- Proven leadership of a sales function (hiring, coaching, target setting, forecasting).
- Strong technical grasp of beverage processing & packaging; comfortable sellingMOQs through to million‑unit runs.
- Commercial acumen: pricing, margin management, and board‑level negotiation.
- Established network across drinks brands (alcoholic & non‑alcoholic), retailers’ private label, and challenger categories.
- Data‑driven operator with CRM rigour; resilient, consultative and outcomes‑focused.
- UK work rights; full clean driving licence. Regular time on site in Herefordshire plus UK travel.
