We are working with a UK-leading business seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Trainee Internal Sales Executive to join their growing team in Nottingham. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop a long-term career in sales, with structured progression and hands-on training from day one.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of existing clients and maintain strong relationships
- Proactively contact potential clients via outbound calls to generate new business
- Work closely with internal teams to understand end-to-end business operations
- Participate in department rotations to build product and process knowledge
- Support the sales cycle from initial enquiry through to order
- Conduct competitor and market research
- Negotiate payment terms and pricing to secure long-term business
- Convert non-allocated leads into regular, revenue-generating customers
- Identify and implement strategies to increase sales performance

- Confident communicator with a professional telephone manner
- Driven, motivated, and eager to succeed in a sales environment
- Comfortable with cold calling and new business development
- Strong IT and administrative skills
- Able to work towards targets and deadlines under pressure
- A positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
