Overview

Sales Consultant – Legal Services Base pay range: £25,000-£28,500 base salary, OTE £42,000 plus excellent benefits (Work Level 6B). Monday‑Friday, 37.5 hours flexible between 9am and 9pm, with some evening requirements and one in four Saturdays, or part time minimum 4 days per week. Remote across England and Wales with occasional travel required. For this role you'll be required to start on 19th January 2026.

Responsibilities

  • Attend video or phone‑based appointments to discuss the benefits of later life legal services with clients.
  • Work closely with clients to identify their different needs, providing information and solutions to best meet their requirements.
  • Explain legal issues to clients in an understandable way, without legal jargon.
  • Develop positive relationships with Co‑op colleagues, working together to provide the best possible client journey.
  • Perform to agreed targets to deliver outstanding client outcomes and commercial success.
  • Occasionally travel for face‑to‑face client or company meetings.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience of B2B or B2C consultative sales and supporting customers to make decisions.
  • A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
  • Confidence, empathy and understanding when speaking with potential clients.
  • Active listening skills with the ability to adapt your communication style and engage a diverse range of clients through telephone, video, and face‑to‑face discussions.
  • The ability to consult and influence while showing enthusiasm for our products and services.
  • Advanced level of literacy and numeracy.
  • The ability to achieve key targets.
  • Good general IT skills, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems.
